"Begin at the beginning" the
King said, gravely, "and go on till you come to the end; then stop."

Read the following advice on how to structure your presentation and choose the
best word for each space.
During
your introduction, you should tell your what the structure of your presentation will be. You might say
something like this:
"I'll start by
describing the current position in Spain. Then I'll move on to some
of the achievements we've made in France. After that I'll consider
the opportunities we see for further expansion in other European
countries. Lastly, I'll quickly my presentation before concluding with some
recommendations."
A member of the audience can now
your presentation like this:
Introduction
• Welcome
• Explanation of structure
Body
• Spain
• France
• Rest of Europe
Conclusion
• Summing up
• Recommendations
He will keep this image in his head during the
presentation. He may even . And throughout your presentation, you will remind him which
point you have and where you are going now. When you finish Spain and want to
start France, you might :
"That's all I have to say about Spain. Let's
turn now to France."
When you have finished Europe and want to sum up,
you might say:
"Well, we've looked at the three areas, Spain,
France and the other European countries. I'd like to sum up now."
And when you finish summing up and want to
your recommendations, you might say:
"What does all this mean for us? Well, firstly
I recommend..."
