Part Three
The bar in Greenwich Village was busy and noisy. Rick sat at the bar and asked for a
beer. He could see Brad at the end of the bar. Brad drank his whisky quickly and asked for another one.
Rick saw a big tall man sit next to Brad. He looked at Brad and said something. Rick couldn’t hear because the music in the bar was too loud.
The big man laughed, and Brad looked at him angrily. Rick saw Brad open his jacket. Rick knew that the pistol was inside Brad’s jacket. Slowly Brad stood up. He finished his whisky and left the bar.
