- Cuando el fuego se ha consumido por sí
mismo, porque ya no queda materia combustible que pueda arder.
Agotamiento (físico o
mental)
- Exceso de trabajo o actividad que provoca
cansancio.
Quemado
- Cuando algo (un motor, un mecanismo) deja
de funcionar por sobrecalentamiento o similar. También se usa
cuando algo (un edificio, vehículo, etc.) ha ardido en su
interior.
- She left the fire to burn itself out.
- At the end of the day I felt totally burned out.
- It looks like the motor on the lorry* has burned out.
- The museum was completely burnt out.
