Angeles and I don’t have a TV. Maybe that’s one reason we love the cinema. We go to see films/movies at least once a week, and sometimes more often if there are good films on. We read the reviews in the newspapers and watch the short advertisements called trailers to decide what films to see.

Angeles always likes to get to the cinema early to find a good seat. We usually sit next to the aisle in one of the middle rows so that we’re not too close to the screen, but close enough for her to read the subtitles in Spanish. I’m English and I like to see films in original version. I can’t stand it when actors like Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino are dubbed in Spanish.

Sometimes in Spain the really big, successful American movies called blockbusters aren’t in English and we have to see them in Spanish. I don’t always understand the plot, but with some American movies/films that could be an advantage!
