Baseball is one of the most popular sports in America. Boys, and now girls, have been playing this sport for many many years. It’s origins go back to the native Americans. It’s probably the most popular sport in America, and people think of it more of a game of life than of a sport. Many books have been written about baseball, and many movies have been made about baseball.

Although baseball is a little different to other sports, it seems to be either very popular in some countries, or not popular at all. Ame … baseball is very popular in some countries in Central America and in South America, like Columbia and Cuba and Venezuela, and certainly some of the best players in America have come from the Spanish speaking countries. I would say ten, twenty, maybe even thirty percent of the players in the major leagues are Spanish speakers.

Baseball’s also very popular in Japan, and in Taiwan and I think I heard it’s become very popular in Korea also.

Although baseball will always be popular in America, its future is uncertain. Today more and more young people love to play soccer. Soccer has become the most popular game for young people to play in America. I think that’s interesting ... hmm ... I wonder if America will win the World Cup one day?
