ti, tus intereses y tus planes futuros.
Ejemplo:
Examinador: What do you do? Do you work or are you a student?
Candidato: I am a student. I’m currently studying business
administration at the university.
Examinador: What do you like to do in your free time?
Candidato: In my free time, I enjoy reading books, especially
science fiction. I also like to go for walks in the park with my
dog.
Examinador: Can you tell me about your hometown?
Candidato: Sure. I come from a small town called Springfield. It’s a
quiet place with a lot of green spaces and friendly people. There
are some nice cafes and a beautiful river where people like to go
kayaking.
Parte 2: Long Turn
En esta parte, te darán dos fotos y tendrás que hablar sobre
ellas durante 1 minuto, comparándolas y respondiendo a una pregunta
específica.
Ejemplo:
Examinador: Here are your photographs. They show people doing
different types of work. I’d like you to compare the photographs and
say what you think might be difficult about doing these jobs.
Fotos:
Candidato:
In the first photo, we can see a person working in an office. They
are sitting at a desk, looking at a computer screen. In the second
photo, there is a person working on a construction site, wearing a
hard hat. Working in an office might be difficult because it can be
quite monotonous and involve long hours sitting, which isn’t very
healthy. On the other hand, working on a construction site is
physically demanding and can be dangerous, as there are risks of
injury. Both jobs require different skills and have their own
challenges.
Parte 3: Collaborative Task
En esta parte, tendrás que interactuar con otro candidato para
conversar sobre una situación hipotética y llegar a una conclusión.
Tendrás 2 minutos para discutir y 1 minuto para tomar una decisión.
Ejemplo:
Examinador: Now, I’d like you to talk about something together for
about two minutes. Here are some ideas about how people can stay
healthy and a question for you to discuss. First, you have some time
to look at the task.
Pregunta: How can people stay healthy? (Doing exercise, eating a
balanced diet, getting enough sleep, avoiding stress, having regular
medical check-ups)
Candidato A: So, I think doing exercise is very important to stay
healthy. It keeps your body fit and helps to reduce stress. What do
you think?
Candidato B: Yes, I agree. But I also believe that eating a balanced
diet is crucial. If you eat well, you provide your body with the
necessary nutrients. Do you think getting enough sleep is equally
important?
Candidato A: Absolutely. Sleep is essential for the body to recover
and function properly. Avoiding stress is also key, as stress can
lead to many health problems. How about regular medical check-ups?
Candidato B: I think regular check-ups are important too because
they help in early detection of any health issues. So, in conclusion,
a combination of all these factors is probably the best way to stay
healthy.
Parte 4: Discussion
En esta parte, el examinador te hará preguntas relacionadas con
el tema tratado en la Parte 3. Tendrás que expresar tu opinión y
justificarla.
Ejemplo:
Examinador: Do you think it’s more important for people to eat
healthily or to exercise regularly?
Candidato: That’s a difficult question because both are very
important. However, if I had to choose, I would say that eating
healthily is more crucial. What we eat has a direct impact on our
overall health. A balanced diet provides the body with the necessary
nutrients to function properly. Of course, exercise is also
essential, but without a good diet, exercise alone cannot keep you
healthy.
Examinador: Some people say that modern life makes it more difficult
to be healthy. Do you agree?
Candidato: Yes, I agree to some extent. Modern life can be very
stressful and fast-paced, which often leads to poor eating habits
and a lack of exercise. People tend to rely on fast food because
it’s convenient, and they may not have time to exercise regularly.
However, I also believe that with proper planning and commitment,
it’s possible to maintain a healthy lifestyle even with a busy
schedule.
